The first apartments will open before the end of 2016 at three rental developments in a Boca Raton business park.

The apartment developments  – Allure, Altis and 850 Boca  – are the first residential projects at The Park at Broken Sound since the city of Boca Raton made zoning changes in 2012 to allow construction of housing and retail stores in the business park. The 700-acre property, formerly known as the Arvida Park of Commerce, was renamed The Park at Broken Sound last year.

Jamie Danburg, who runs Danburg Management Corp., is building the 282-unit Allure apartment community with Miami-based developers Sergio Rok and Jimmy Tate.

Danburg told the Sun-Sentinel the first 180 Allure units will open by the end of the year. The other 102 units are scheduled to open in 2017 together with a nearby retail center.

Danburg also told the newspaper that 30,000 people work at the business park, but only a small percentage of them reside in Boca Raton.

The 398-unit Altis apartment complex is scheduled to open by the end of the year, and so is a next-door shopping center anchored by a Fresh Market grocery store.

Amenities at Altis will include a nine-hole putting green, yoga room and pet spa.
