When a posh sales center for a luxury condo isn’t enough to bring in guests for a party, what do you do? Partner up with a luxe jeweler, of course.

Chateau Group recently hosted an intimate dinner at its Fendi Chateau Residences sales center in Surfside, complete with showcases of jewels and “rare pieces” from de Grisogono.

High-power brokers, designers and Miami socialites gathered at the sales center in mid-May to meet up and schmooze during a three-course meal catered by Michelle Areces of Petit Pois. Developer Manuel Grosskopf of the Chateau Group and the Eli Klinger, the project’s head of sales, worked the crowd and gave speeches about the upcoming Fendi Chateau.

Electronic violinist Monty Bloom played throughout the dinner, while the night was capped off by a raffle for a bottle of Billecart-Salmon BrutRose champagne, which typically goes for about $80. Guest Gary Shear of Shear Construction walked away with the prize, which was handed off by Michael Quagliato of de Grisogono.

As The Real Deal reported in May, Fendi Chateau is aiming toward a summer completion date. The ultra-luxury 58-unit project is about 88 percent sold, with units priced between $6.3 million to $25 million.

Outside of Surfside, the Chateau Group is also developing a massive two-tower complex in Sunny Isles Beach under the title Varadero, which would have 490 condos if built.
